My brothers wedding

So yeah! I was supposed to post about this like.. on Sunday when everything was like.. FRESH in my head, but i just haven't gotten to do it yet. LOL
anyways, the feelings and thoughts and everything that came into my head that day are a little faded but its okay.

So,one thing about me, if you don't already know, is that i realize things later than normal people.  My brother got married last saturday (the 25th) and yeah! it was awesome! :D haha probably my favourite wedding i have ever been to!HAAH and yeah! trust me, i've been to like.. a billion weddings cos i used to play cello for weddings! ahah it wasn't like.. a huge one or anything, it was just.. FUN! and HAPPY! ahaha! that's how its supposed to be andyeah! i liked it! I got to know the bridesmaids kind of well but yeah.. too bad all but one is from singapore... so yeah.. i'll never like.. see them again! :( oh well! but for some reason, i like meeting people like that! esp girls! AHAH like.. when you are forced to "socialize" with them, i find the bonds you create with those people are different, esp if you guys end up "clicking".  trust me! HAH you'll understand what I mean if it ever happens to you! HAHA! but yeah! it was a really fun night!

Anyways, back to reality.  The next day, i wake up (on sunday) and my perspective on life changed... literally.  I guess just seeing my bro get married made it seem like i would be getting married soon or something.  but i suddenly felt like I should start being more responsible in everything I do.  I felt like I wanted to just move on from this stage in life and get a job and get married and get an awesome family and just live happily ever after! i remembered when I asked this girl once what one of her goals in life was and she was like... "to have a family" or something along the lines of that... and at the time i was like thinking "meh..thats cool i guess and i respect that... but my goal would be more like... doing an ironmen!lol"  but yeah.. coming back and thinking about it, one of my goals in life IS to have a family and ALSO be an awesome husband and a great role model for my kids and an awesome father!  I feel like that is something I really want to do!  i guess, everything just really hit me at the same time! all these other stuff too.. its hard to explain.. like. overnight i was immediately over granola barres.. like.. even if i see them.. i'm not tempted one bit... just cos it is so useless and being addicted to them was.. i dont know.. anyways yeah.. that is gone for good... for sure!

Anyways, more in the present, i need to start working harder in school if i really do want to have that nice lifestyle and have an awesome family.  i need to do my best in school so i can get a good job and i need to work hard to become that dream guy my future wife wants.

Honestly, i can't really explain what happened but when i really did realize my brother getting married, it changed my perspective on life and stuff and yeah... cool stuff! haha!

Anyways, i am happy!

So yeah !! today was my bro's wedding! HAAH and yeah he's married now! HAAHA and its crazy! LOL *sigh* i'm happy for him! it just feels weird thinking that he's married now! HAAHA but its cooL! seriously! :) ahah
Anyways, before the wedding, which started at 1pm, most of the groomsmen and guys went to crossfit thsi morning! HAA WITH my bro! HAAH so jokes, we tried killing his muscles before he gets married! anyways, here is the what the WOD was (Work Of the Day)

"EVA" 3 Rounds or 5 (RX'd) (so yeah I only did 4 rounds... LOL) 
800 Meter Run 
30 Pull-ups (used a little assistance here, but yeah not too bad!) 
30 KB Swings 75/55lbs ( LOL there was no way i could do 75 lbs.. LOl i tried.. and i was like.. dannnngg lLOL so yeah i ended up just using 55lbs LOL for 75lbs, i need more like.. technique practice or something.)




ANYWAYS, this was a fun WOD and the wedding today was amazing! :D i got to know a lot of ppl taht i probalby wont ever see again but they are all cool and nice and i'm happy i met them! :D

June 21/22, 2011

Okay so my internet died yesterday so i couldn't post this! haha
yesterday's workout was this...

4 rounds for time:
40 jumping lunges
20 Kb swings with 35lbs
10 burpees
20 pushups
40 russian twists

It was fun! :) and i did this with 1 quart less of blood than normal cos i donated blood yesterday! HAAH OOOH YEAH!!! haha you know those horror stories ppl say about donating blood?They are actually partially true! HAHA so yeah yesterday, the nurse put the needle in and i felt like.. sharp pain.. and i'm thinking.. it usually doesn't hurt that much when they put the needle in... oh well! HAHA and yeah! after liek..1 min shes like.. ur blood stopped draining.. hmm.. wait.. so she takes the needle and pulls it out a little and you can see the blood flowing again.. and she's like.. there you go! the needle just went too far in and hit the veins wall.... LOL and i'm like.. okay.. i def wanted to hear that LOL 5 mins later shes like.. umm.. ur blood is like.. just dripping out so she like.. takes the needle and starts playing around with it! LOL moves it around, in and out, (well not totally out), trying to feel for my vein with her other hand.. and i'm like. this is weird. LOL
ANYWAYS, after 15 mins in total, i finally finished filling up that sack of blood. and i'm like.. wow.. that was long LOL usually it takes me like.. 4 mins and done! haha
oh well.. she was a nice nurse though so yeah! :) haha so jokes though!  sometimes i get like.. nerve pains i think in my left arm now but yeah w/e! LOL

OKAY and now for todays workout...
4 rounds for time:
15 body rows
30 windshield wipers (i used 95 lbs)
100 single skips (it was supposed to be 45 double unders but yeah... for some reason, i couldn't do them today LLOL)

This workout was more fun and not too bad! lol like itw as managable.. i wasted alot of time though on my first round tryign to do double unders... LOL but yeah... after i switched to single skips it went by much faster LOL

Yay! today was a good day!@ :D i'm just really tired now so i cant say much LOL here is the waht i did for fitness

Team WOD (teamed up with Josh)

60 Box Jumps (30 each person)

That is a copy and paste from my bro's site coes i w was too lazy to write it out LOL. but yeah I replaced Jireh with Josh.
BUT YEAH for the burpees, LOL i only did like.. 10 or 15 or 10.. I don't rmb.. i jsut rmb Josh doing like.. most of it cos i was dead LOLOL anyways, we finished it in 11 mins something.... i forget the seconds.. but yeah w/e! between 11 and 12 mins LOL ahaha it was fun stuff!! :)

*sigh* i am tired now.. oh yeah i signed 3/3 jobs today so thats good :) anyways life is going pretty nice now. i jsut need to keep working hard1 :D

Black Bears

So the other night i fell asleep and had a quite scary dream! AHHA
okay so it all started in my backyard.  I was chilling near the riverbed minding my own business looking at the stream. then i saw like.. 2 cute llittle bear cubs! so i'm like !NICEE i always wanted a bear as a pet or something! so i kinda started to play with them a little! HAH they were cute and cool! LOL but then... i rmbed about what my mom told me about bear's moms and how they get pissed off when humans or w/e play with their cubs or w/e.  so yeah.. then this GIANT moma bear popped out of nowhere and got pissed at me LOL so i'm like.. SHOOOT must runnn!!! lol and yeah that was scary! LOL
I ran home luckily before the bear caught me and i closed the door and locked it LOLOL! for some reason, the bear didn't care about breaking down anything.. all it did was like.. walk around my house on its hind legs sniffing me out! OL oh yeah I forgot to say that I left my flip flops outside cos they were slowing me down. and yeah.. the bear then tore them apart and sniffed it to get my scent... after like.. 2 hours or something of taunting I'm like... wth can I do?! i'm stuck here! so i'm like...oooooo she's trying to sniff me out!! LOL so i took a shower and washed myself with herbal essences and old spice bodywash and I was a  new person! HAHA
Literaly after i did taht, i went outside and the bear didn't recognize me cos i didn't smell the same LOLOLOL or something and we became friends.  and. . i swear the bear spoke english or something.. but yeah.. we became pals even though i never saw her cubs ever again LOL and yeah... i woke up feeling guilty i lied about my friendship. cos she asked me wehre "I" went and I was like.. I dont know.  yeah... if she found out I was actually the person playing with her cubs, she'd probably get pissed LOL anyways! that was a scary dream at first! SERIOUSLY the taunting and her tryingn to smell me out was sooo freeakky! AHAH but yeah ahah turned out alreight in the end! LOL so yeah lesson learned is to take showers often! LOL jkjk i do that already.. i think

OOH YEHA!!! i had a dream last night! it was about black bears... i'll tell you more later.. probalby tmr.. i dont have much time now.. cos i need to sleep for tmr cos tmr is a long day. haha

So.. apparently I injured my back worse than I thought..> LOL its weird!  soo.... apparently, i could have broken a bone in my spine or something.. or fractured it or something like that because one of my spinal plates slipped forward a little.  well.... not a lot, but apparently, the only way it slips is if you break a bone or something... Luckily it was a small slip, and the only way to really verify if it actually slipped is if you get an xray or something.  so yeah! HAH from now on, i have to take an easy on my workouts... cos i todnt want my plate to slip more or w/e LOL

anyways, today for crossfit, it was supposed to be 1 rep max of back squat, shoulder press and deadlift.

Since i didn't want to injure my back too much, i did...
295lbs of back squat
95lbs of shoulder press
and 315lbs of deadlift

I know its not that much.. but yeah.. its all i could do wiht like.. super perfect form... cos i didn't wanna push myself LOL its good enough for now i guess...
my shoulder press is really bad though AHA cos if I try too hard, i tend to arch my back, and that makes the slip worse.  so iyeah.. i dont do it LOL

whatever! i hope everything heals up sometime cos that would be good.

TABATAS! haah so basically it is 20 secs on, 10 secs break of an exercise and you move on.
today the exercises were the following:

Body Rows (avg per round was 10)
Prisoner Squats (16)
Sit-ups (12)
Shoulder presses (95lbs) (6)
Kettle Bell Cleans (55lbs) (8)
Sledge Hammers (10)

so yeah the bracketed numbers are just my averages per round.

so yeah! each round takes 3 mins.  I did 6 rounds... even though i was supposed to do 8... oh well. i had to leave early!!
OH YEAH dannng... i also forgot to put back my equipment.. so yeah.... whoops.. i hope i don't have to do burpees as punishment or anything LLOL
anyways, this was tiring but super fun!

oh man.. typing right now hurts my fingers! LOl cos i have an open wound from all the swinging on the bars today! LOL so yeha i had a callous and now, its gone cos it got ripped off.. LOL thats my story

angry drivers LOL

So yeah! today was interestingn! AHAH so much fun! haah but yeah! LOL i'm just gonna talk about my morning.. cos that was interesting enough! here is a picture for you all for me to help you explain what happened! LOl so jokes btw!
OKay so that blue dude (car) is me this morning on the DVP.  SO i was driving on the dvp this morning while there was like.. SUPER HEAVY traffic.. and at this point, it seeme dlike. no one wanted to let ppl get in front of them.. but so yeah.. i look beside me and theres this weird dude (the red guy) creeping the innocent green dude.  so im like. .thats so weird! cos the red car was LITERALLY 2 INCHES behind the green dude. so im liek.. thats a weird driver.. and i keep driving along
Then.. i see the orange dude.. who's like.. a truck thing.. thats pulling along a metal thingy... like.. its not even part of the car.. its just.. metal... and the orange guy was driving on the shoulder.I think he was trying to get in front of the red dude, but the red dude kepts like.. super speeding so make sure the gap between him and the green car was not existant... LOL and the orange truck kept on trying to get in. LOL so jokes! LOl then the red guy starts going crazy.! LOL he starts honking, yelling and stuff.. then a couple seconds later... he opens his window and starts HITTING the truck with his hands! LOLOLLOL and i'm like.. uhh.. thats weird... i was really hoping, at that moment, he wouldn't look at me.. cos i was like... giving them an awkward smile !LOl cos it was so funny! but not! LOLOLOL so weird! anyways.... Somehow, the truck got in and went in front of the red dude. and i was like.. well .. i guess thats over.. then.. CRASH ahaha the stupid red guy literallly ran his car into the .. METAL of the truck.. and i'm like.. thats so stupid.. why whould you even do that? lol its like.. running into a pole... thats metal... and yeah.> LOL i saw fumes come out of his engine or somethign LOL! i still can't believe he did taht cos thats so stupid... LOL then.. he somehow .. parks his car somewhere.. i dont relaly know where.. but yeah.. somewhere on the highway during rushhour and got out of his car and ran in front of the orange dude, got pissed, spazzed, and i think he copied his license plate.. LOL im like. thats dumb.. cos if he reports what happened, he'll just get in trouble becasue as a person looking into what happened.. the red guy just made the situation bad! LOl sureeee the orange guy was in the shoulder.. but you didn't have to HIT his car with you hand then RAM ur car into the back of the truck... LOLOL anyways.. that was just funny.. and i'm happy it didn't happen to me....

Btw the thunderstorm today was nice! so much lightning ! lol and it was soo cool! cos it was so bright! LOl i like it! LOL it was a lil scary cos i was driving home and stuff.. but it was nice.. and then after the storm it becomes really calm.. and thats nice too! except for the mosquitoes.. they aren't calm.. they are.... intense....

Workout today! :D not as bad as normal LOL so thats good
3-3-3-3-3 Deadlifts 85% of 1RM (i used 255lbs which i realized was only 70% now. OL oh well! HAHA)

400m sprints x 4 with 2 min break in between sprints

Okay so you look at the 2 min break and ur like.. OOH thats EASY but its not man! the 2 min rest is so taht you have to run faster! LOL I didn't really "sprint" it .. just ran it faster than i jog LOl but yeah.. i'm tired.. but unlike most of the other workouts, i'm not that tired now, i feel like I can go again today or something.. just cos it was mostly running.

From now on, i'm gonna try doing the crossfit warmup as well before I do the actual workouts which is this:
3 mins of skipping, 10-15 reps of... over head squats with pvc pipe (so its light), pushups, sit-ups and pull-ups and 3 sets of that.

Starting tmr i will do that! :D

Best post-workout food!

so today i had crossfit again LOL I just finished LOL
it was this:
4 Rounds for time
10 Wall Balls
15 SDHP 95 lbs
20 Box Jumps
25 Burpees

and yeah.. it was terrible.. it doesnt look that bad.. but its BAAADD! LOl

anyways! that was fun! LOL but super tiring.. the burpees is what slowed me down the most... LOl


ANYWAYS, best post-workout food is WATERMELON! OMGGGG! SOOO GOOOD! i just finished eating a third of a big watermelon after drinking a litre of water... which was dumb.. i should have jsut ate the watermelon cos now my belly feels bloated! LOL  but yeah. when ur super hot and tired and stuff.. that cold, sweet and tasty watermelon is the BEST! :D ahha anyways my teeth still hurt, which is too bad cos i really wanna eat crunchy food again... and enjoy it.. not like.. *bite* OW that hurts but tastes gooood OWW and yeah

teeth tightened!!

so yeah! yesterday i got my teeth tightened and my orthodontist moved the things that you glue on your teeth around so THIS time when he tightened my teeth, it felt like it was the first time i got braces! it hurt like CRA|ZY and i can't even like.. bite down totally properly! HAHA so weird!
anyways, today i was eating and mannn it hurt so much! i had some sugar snaps in my dinner and mannn! that crunchiness was good but MANN it KILLED! haha my teeth are dying! HAHA
you know what i thought of though? since tightening my teeth slows down my eating like crazy, i should probably just tighten my teeth before i go on a date! AHAH cos I eat super fast, if you guys don't know and most girls can't keep up with my sppeeed! lol anyways, it would probalby slow me down to their level LOLOL iunno! or i could just eat super fast and make her feel weird by staring at her while she eats LOL that would be jokes lol iunno we'll see i don't think it will matter in the future though! HAHAfor some reason, i feel like thing teeth thing made my tongue to work out! cos my tongue is tired! LOL anyways,

June 1st

Sooo today, i lost a job, because of some weird asian man.. LOL anyways.. he didn't understand me when i said.. "i'm not ready to paint yet" LOLOL! oh wellls AHAH it was a small job anyways and i gave him a discount taht i shouldn't have cos yeah! lol anyways! besides thattt, i did crossfit again today! :D ahah it was fun! heres the workout:

Sledgehammer right side one minute 
Sledgehammer left side one minute 
200 meter sprint for one minute 
Rest 1 minute between rounds
Anyways, it was fun! :D and then i washed windows with my bro! HAAH and got free vitamin water! :D oh yeahh! :D thats good! anyways, i'm off! i have to go to my dad's clinic cos i injured my neck LOL i was practicing tripod handstands for fun yesterday. so i can do that nigahiga move.... LOL thing Ll anways...
