BT: 100 hats

YES! to start off! this is one of my favourite Brain Teasers!!  I've only heard this one from word-of-mouth lOL so yeah i'm just going to write down my way of it.. and yeah! I did not create any of these teasers!

You are imprisoned on an island with a warden who can at any point let you and everyone out at his/her will.  There are 100 prisoners (and that number includes you) and 1 warden (and obviously other guards and stuff but that's useless.. i just don't want you guys to say.. 100 vs. 1.. we win! or something stupid like that! LOL).  The warden makes an announcement and says the following:  "Tomorrow, I will line you all up in a straight line facing one direction.  Then I will place either a red or green hat on your heads.  After everyone is given a hat, you are allowed to guess the colour of the hat on your head.  If you guess right, you are free to leave.  If you guess wrong, you will be shot on the spot."
Now, devise a plan that will give 99 of the prisoners a 100% chance of living and 1 prisoner, a 50% chance of living.

Note:
Though they are prisoners, they are smart and can see.
The prisoners can ONLY say "red" or "green" and nothing else...and in no special tone or anything
The plan should work so that one person will go after another every 15 seconds (so there is not hesitation or anything)
We don't know the ratio between red and green hats.  Example: it could be 50R:50G, or 1R:99G etc...
The plan should work with any number of people.  100 was just used for fun...but it could be with 50 people, 123 people...etc.

Brain teasers anyone?!

Okay people!!! does anyone know any good brain teasers? i wanna compile a bunch of GOOD ones! or .. one's i have solved! LOL

I'm gonna start a new label called "brain teasers" and they will be GOOD! lol unlike some.. dumb ones! LOL haha anyways yeah! I have 3 brain teasers that I will type out that will start off my amazing label!!! :D hahaa so yeah! I'll but BT in the title too .. so if u don't wanna read a brain teaser, you can just ignore the blog...

OKAY some of you might be wondering.. "why does Jireh suddenly have an interest in these BTs (brain teasers)??" and this is why.. for some reason.. recently my roommates and I jsut REALLY enjoy doing them! LOL well i enjoy it! I know one of them does it so he'll be super ready for any interview that may have them in it, but still!!! haha I think he enjoys doing them! I don't know why .. but i sort of get a thrill out of doing them!! haha oh wells!

so yeah! i hope you get the same thrill!! oh yeah! and if u know the answer to these teasers.. keep it to urself and just comment and say that you know the answer.. but don't say it! LOL and yeah.. if you can't get the answer, just ask me... ORRR NOT! figure it out urself! HAAH trussstttt it's satisfying when you get it right! HAHA!
